METHODOLOGY
It is based on two main elements:
- Global approach of mobility in industrial areas.
- Negotiation and consensus methods between stakeholders involved in the industrial areas.
Therefore, the project wants to put into action technical processes in order to assess the current mobility, to generate future proposals throughout the mobility plans, and furthermore to implement mobility managers as well as to carry out territorial actions with the consensus of all stakeholders involved: social, economical and institutional.
Work stages
The Gesmopoli project involves nine stages of work:
1 · Implementation of the project:
Creation of leadership and management teams.
Selection of industrial areas
Set up the operative plan
Carry out the first dissemination activities.
2 ·Development of mobility plans in the selected industrial areas:
Evaluation using indicators, GIS and simulation models.
Development of proposals for action.
Participation and involvement of social stakeholders from each industrial area.
Synthesis research to carry out in the six industrial areas.
Second public dissemination activity.
3 ·Mobility agreements processes on the six industrial areas:
Development of tools for negotiation and consensus.
Signature of agreements.
4 ·Training courses for mobility managers:
Set up an action plan for the mobility plans and agreements.
5 ·To establish the mobility manager position.
6 ·Awareness activities for social stakeholders and employees (training courses, seminars, conferences, discussion groups and workshops)
7 ·Mobility pilot actions.
